| dc.description.abstract | In this study, the dynamics o f axially moving continua are investigated using new finite difference methodology. In this methodology, the finite difference discretization is applied to spatial derivatives to simplify the partial-differential equation into a set o f ordinary differential equations. The set o f ordinary differential equations are solved in conventional method. For different gird number, the natural frequencies of the system are found. | |
