Mecidiyeköy Likör Ve Kanyak Fabrikası Restorasyonu

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Mecidiyeköy semtinde yer alan ve 1930 yılında inşa edildiği bilinen Likör ve Kanyak Fabrikası’nın mevcut durumunun belgelenmesi, çeşitli tarihsel kaynaklar yardımıyla yapımından itibaren geçirdiği müdahalelerin saptanması ve son olarak yeni fonksiyon önerisi getirilerek korunmasına katkıda bulunmak amaçlanmıştır. Yapının inşa edildiği döneme ait fotoğraflardan ve yapının mimarı Robert Mallet-Stevens’ın yayınlanmış çizimleri yardımıyla yapının ilk günkü durumunun restitüsyon önerisi hazırlanmıştır. Çalışmanın son bölümü, yapının korunması, gelecek nesillere aktarılması amacıyla geliştirilen yeni kullanım önerisi hakkındadır. Bu amaçla yapının, gerek mimarisi gerek endüstriyel kimliği nedeniyle uluslararası kökleri düşünülerek bu eksen etrafında bir enformasyon merkezi olarak değerlendirilmesi önerilmiştir.The aims of this research are; to document the existing condition of the Liqueur and Cognac Factory constructed at Mecidiyeköy district in 1930, to detect alterations made since the construction and finally to contribute to the conservation by a new function proposal. The restitution stage is based on the photographs of the building shot in the thirties, as well as published original drawings done by the architect of the factory, Robert Mallet-Stevens. The final part of the research is about the restoration proposal of the building, aimed at the conservation of the building and its’ heritance for future generations. By this aim, renovation of the factory is proposed as an information centre, considering its’ international architectural and industrial roots.
