Fluorescent small molecules with alternating triarylamine-substituted selenophenothiophene and triarylborane: synthesis, photophysical properties and anion sensing studies

Abstract

This study represents the first report of designed two small D–π-A molecules possessing conjugated selenopheno[3,2-b]thiophene and triarylamine derivatives as electron donors, and thiophene as π-spacer with dimesitylborane as an electron acceptor.
