Bir proje yönetim firmasında PMI proje yönetim sistemine göre model önerisi ve uygulanması

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, proje yönetimi alanında danışmanlık hizmeti veren bir firmanın yazarın bu firmada çalışmaya başladığı tarih olan Haziran 2006 döneminde PMI proje yönetim sistematiğine göre mevcut durumu incelenerek eksikler, hatalar tespit edilip şirket için uygulanması en uygun görülen PMI proje yönetim sistematiğine bağlı kalınarak PMI kapsamındaki konularda modelleme çalışmaları yapılmış, model önerilerinin başarısı somut verilerle ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Mevcut durumda şirketin zaman içinde projelerdeki yönetimsel kabiliyetlerinin artışı ve hedeflerdeki değişimler irdelenmesinin yanı sıra proje yönetimindeki eksiklikleri belirtilmiştir. Belirtilen eksiklikler konusunda modeller yeniden irdelenmiş ve uygun görülen revizyonlar yapılmıştır. Bunun dışında proje yönetim kavramı hakkında bilgi verilip dünyada yaygın olarak kullanılan proje yönetim sistemleri konusunda detaylı açıklamalar yapılmıştır. Proje yönetim firmasındaki proje yönetim sistematiği incelenirken PMI proje yönetim sistemi unsurlarıyla paralellik sağlamasına özen gösterilmiştir. Sonuç olarak firmanın iki dönem için kıyaslanması yapıldığında gözle görülür bir değişiklik meydana geldiği saptanmış, yazarın da bu değişiklikte etkin bir rolünün bulunduğu anlaşılmıştır._x000D_ _x000D_In this study, the state of affairs within a consultant company was examined from the PMI project management system point of view since June 2006 when the author started to work at the company. Having exposed the systematic problems and deficiencies in the previous management system, some functional models have been suggested with the view of PMI that could be applied to the company to avoid the problems. The advantages of the models have been identified by using comparisons and statistics. The progress and development of the management system of the company has been explained and some aspects of the models that wouldn’t work desirably have been revised. In addition to this, the term “project management” has been clarified and project management systems used worldwide have been studied. While suggesting the models for company, the author paid attention to stay in accordance with PMI system elements. In conclusion, when initial and final states of the company were observed, it has been clearly seen that there was serious progress in which the author has taken an active role.
