Abstract
Bu çalışmada; küresel morfolojiye sahip gümüş nano-partikülleri, USP tekniği ile gümüş nitrat (AgNO3) başlangıç çözeltisi kullanılarak üretilmiştir. Reaksiyonlar oksijensiz ortamda, azot ve hidrojen taşıyıcı/redükleyici gazları kullanılarak; farklı başlangıç konsantrasyonlarında, 800 °C redüksiyon sıcaklığında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu deneylere ek olarak hidrojen gazı ortamında; farklı redüksiyon sıcaklıklarında, 0,05 M çözelti konsantrasyonunda gümüş nano-partikülleri üretimi yapılmıştır. Tüm deneyler 1,3 MHz ultrasonik frekans ve 1,0 l/dak akış debisi koşullarında gerçekleşmiştir. Elde edilen tozların morfolojisi ve yüzey özellikleri hakkında bilgi sahibi olabilmek için Taramalı Elektron Mikroskobundan (SEM) faydalanılmış ve üretilen tozların düzgün yüzeyli küresel yapıya sahip oldukları görülmüştür. Bunun yanında tozların X-ışınları difraksiyonu (XRD) analizleri, elde edilen gümüş tozlarının yüzey merkezli kübik (YMK) yapıda olduğunu göstermiştir. Üretilen partiküllerin termal davranışını belirlemek amacıyla Diferansiyel Taramalı Kalorimetre ve Termal Gravimetri (DSC-TGA) analizine başvurulmuş, elde edilen partiküllerin nano yapılı olmasından dolayı, ergime noktasının bir miktar düştüğü gözlemlenmiştir.
In this study, silver nano-particles with spherical morphology were produced by Ultrasonic Spray Pyrolysis (USP) technique by using silver nitrate (AgNO3) as a starting solution. Reactions were occurred under oxygen free atmosphere by using nitrogen and hydrogen as carrier/reducer gas with solutions had different starting concentrations at 800°C reduction temperature. Addition to this, the experiments was realized at different reduction temperatures with 0,05M solution concentration by using hydrogen as a carrier/reducer gas. All the experiments were actualized at 1.3 MHz ultrasonic frequency and 1.0 l/min flow rate conditions. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) technique was used to determine the morphology and surface characteristics of final powder and it was observed that the particles had smooth surface with spherical morphology. The results of X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) analysis of the samples were indicated that silver nano-particles had face centered cubic crystal (FCC) structure and the mean crystalline size of particles is 25 nm. To determine the thermal behavior of produced particles, Differential Scanning Calorimetry-Thermogravimetric Analysis (DSC-TGA) was used. It was observed that melting point of particles were reduced due to the particles were nano-structured.
