Abstract
Bu çalışmada, depreme karşı korunma yöntemlerinden biri olan taban yalıtımı sistemi ve sönümleyiciler hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. İzolatörlerin çeşitleri, genel çalışma prensipleri ve mekanik karakteristikleri anlatılmış ve uygulama esasları hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Taban yalıtımı ile ilgili uluslararası standartlarda tarif edilen hesaplamalar açıklanmıştır. Ayrıca genel dinamik formüller gösterilmiştir. Analiz için ETABS bilgisayar programı kullanılmış, programın çözüm mantığı hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Uygulama bölümünde, depremden en az hasarla çıkması ve depremden hemen sonra faaliyet göstermesi düşünülen altı katlı bir hastane yapısı kullanılmıştır. Bu yapı öncelikle, ankastre mesnetli olarak daha sonra taban yalıtımlı olarak çözülmüştür. Bu uygulamada sürtünmeli sarkaç tipi izolatör kullanılmıştır. İki sistem için analiz sonuçları karşılaştırılmış ve davranış şekilleri incelenmiştir. Son olarak da iki sistem arasında maliyet karşılaştırılması yapılmıştır.
In this study, the information about the base isolation system that is one of the methods of protection against earthquake and about dampers was given. The types of isolators, general working principles and mechanical characteristics were explained and the essentials of application were defined. The calculations about base isolation described in the international codes, are explained. Also general dynamic formulations are shown. To analyze the system, the computer program ETABS was used and the information about the logic of analyzing the system was given. In the application part, a six storied building of hospital was used. This structure would have the least damage by the earthquake and would display activity just after the earthquake. First, it is solved as fixed based and than base isolated. In this application, the Friction Pendulum Bearings were used. The analysis results for both systems were compared and the behaviour types were examined. Finally, the comparison of costs between both systems was done.
