Abstract
Zararlı atık olarak tanım ve tespiti yapılan pestisit endüstrisi sıvı atıklarının atıksu arıtma yöntemleri ile arıtılmasında en uygun yönetim mekanizmasının tespiti için, kimyasal arıtma, ozonlama ve bakteriyel çoğalma inhibisyon testinden oluşan bir deneysel plan uygulanmıştır. Endüstrinin dengeleme tankından farklı tarihlerde üç adet numune alınmıştır. Öncelikle numunelerin karakterizasyonları yapılmış daha sonra deneysel bir plan çerçevesinde bu numunelere arıtma alternatifleri uygulanmıştır. Önce numunelere kimyasal arıtma uygulanmış daha sonra bu numuneler ozonlanmış ve 15, 30, 45, 60 ve 90. dakikalarda alınan numunelerle KOİ giderim verimi belirlenmiştir. İkinci aşamada numuneler önce ozonlamış daha sonra kimyasal arıtmaya tabi tutulmuşlardır. Böylece KOİ giderimi bazında hangi sistemin daha verimli olduğu ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Daha sonra ham atıksu ve arıtma seçeneklerinin hepsine bakteriyel çoğalma inhibisyon testi deneyleri uygulanmıştır. Sonuçlar sadece ozonlama uygulaması yapılan numunelerde elde edilen EC50 değerlerinin (sırasıyla %24, %9, ve %8) hamsuyun EC50 değerlerinden (%21, %6.5, ve %6) çok farklı olmadığını göstermiştir. Sadece kimyasal arıtma veya kimyasal arıtmayla birlikte ozonlama seçenekleri EC50 değerlerini belirgin bir şekilde arttırmaktadır. İnhibisyon sabiti Ki içinde benzer sonuçlar elde edilmiştir.
An experimental procedure that consists of chemical treatment, ozonation and bacterial growth inhibition test was performed to a hazardous waste from pesticide formulating industry. During the study, three samples were taken from industry’s equalization tank in different dates. First of all characterizations of the samples were done and than treatment alternatives were done according to an experimental procedure. Firstly chemical treatment has been performed to the samples than these samples were ozonated and COD removal efficiencies has been determined by taking samples in 15, 30, 45, 60, 90. minute. In the next stage of the experiments first ozonation has been used to the samples then chemical treatment has been performed. Thus, treatment efficiencies of each system were determined in the terms of COD. In the last stage of the experimental procedure bacterial growth inhibition test has been performed to all treatment alternatives. The results showed that samples that are performed only ozonation don’t have so different EC50 values ( %24, %9, and %8 respectively) according to raw wastewater (%21, %6,5 and %6 respectively). It is seen that only chemical treatment or chemical treatment with ozonation alternatives increases apparently the EC50 values. Same things can be said for inhibition constant, Ki.
