Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Siemens S7 PLC’ler ile Ethernet üzerinden haberleşme olanakları incelenmiş, bu haberleşmenin Endüstriyel Otomasyonda yaygın olarak kullanılan seri haberleşme protokollerine göre avantajları üzerinde durulmuştur. İkinci aşamada Ethernet’in açık protokollerinden yararlanılarak bir yazılım oluşturulmuştur. Bu yazılımın amacı TCP/IP üzerinden herhangi özel bir yazılım veya donanım kullanmadan standart programlama gereçleri ile bir PLC’nin hafıza ve giriş/çıkış alanlarına nasıl ulaşılacağını göstermek ve bir anlamda düşük maliyetli bir SCADA yazılımının temellerini oluşturmaktır.In this study, Ethernet communication capabilities of Siemens S7 PLC’s are studied and the advantage against the serial communication which is commonly used in Industrial Automation is discussed. At the second phase a software is programmed using the open protocols of Ethernet. This software’s goal is to communicate with the PLC over TCP/IP without any additional software and hardware support, and to show how to read and write the memory and the I/O areas of the PLC. This software can also be the basis of a low cost SCADA system.
