Bilim Kurgu Sineması’nın Mimari Ütopya Kavramı Bağlamında Bir Temsiliyet Aracı Olarak Kullanılması

Abstract

Bu çalışma genel manada, bilimkurgu sinemasının mekanı kurgulamada izlediği yöntemlerin ve filmlerde yer alan mekan örneklerinin mimari tasarım açısından değerlendirilmesi ve incelenmesini kapsamaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı bilimkurgu sinemasındaki mekanların üretilebilirliğini ispatlamak değildir. Geleceğin öngörülmesinde, bilimkurgu sinemasında kullanılan mekanların arkasında yatan fikirlerin değerlendirilmesi ve tasarım pratiği ile ilişkilendirilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Ütopyalarımızın temsili noktasında bu alanın önemi ortaya konmaya çalışılmış, genel manada sinemadan ve bilimkurgu sinemasından biz mimarlar olarak ne şekilde yararlanabileceğimiz sorularına yanıtlar aranmıştır. Geleceğe dair fikirlerimizin temsili noktasında ütopya olgusu incelenmiş, bu kavramın sinema ve mimarlık alanlarına yansımaları ayrı ayrı ele alınmıştır. Sinemanın ütopya kolu olan bilimkurgu sinemasının doğuşu, tarihsel gelişimine değinilerek, ütopya kavramının bu alanda farklılaşması incelenmiştir.Seçilen filmlerle bilimkurgu sinemasının, geleceğin mekanını tasarlarken izlediği yöntemlerin anlaşılması hedeflenmiştir. Bu yöntemler doğrultusunda; bilimkurgu sinemasının mimari tasarım üzerindeki etkileri çeşitli örnekler yardımıyla ortaya konmuştur.This work covers generaly the methods of designing the space for science fiction movies and inspection of these motion picture spaces due to architectural design.Aim of this work is not to prove the productivity of these spaces.For prescience of the future, it has aimed to inspect the ideas behind the spaces of the science fiction movies and combine it to design practice.It has been tried to mention our utopias in a imaginative point of view and examined the questions,how we as architects can benefiting from movies in general or in science fiction type. utopia concept has been studied in a imaginative point of view and the influences of this concept to the architectural areas has been examined.Born of the science fiction movies, as an utopian branch of whole motion picture making and historical development of it, are mentioned, while differentation of utopia concept has been studied. Interaction of these two different areas has been examined due to studying of several examples.It has been aimed to understand the methods of science fiction movie making, how to design the spaces of future.The influences of science fiction movies to architectural design has been mentioned with different examples, according to these methods.
