Abstract

In this paper a new CMOS realization of ZC-CG-CDBA (Z Copy-Controlled Gain-Current Differencing Buffered Amplifier), a recently published active element, is proposed. In addition, the performance of the circuit designed is demonstrated on a second order single input-three output filter example employing two ZC-CG-CDBA elements. The natural frequency and the quality factor of the filter are adjustable electronically with current gain of active elements. Furthermore, the quality factor can be controlled independently by R 4 . The performance of the CMOS design is demonstrated by SPICE simulations. Theoretical and simulation results are found in good agrement with each other. Proposed CMOS circuit seems to be a good alternative to other IC building blocks for analog signal processing.
