Investigating recreational qualities of the parks in Aydın

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of the research is to evaluate the qualities and improve the existing condition of the parks. Differences among parks in the Aydin city center are evaluated in terms of urban equipments and activities.Maintenance of Aydin's parks are at the moderate level. Maintenance and maintainance of the parks directly affected from the limited budget. Spatial and vegetational maintenances of parks in Aydin are not sufficient.According to the results of the research, improving the the qualities of the parks in the neighborhoods and increasing the budget and personnel that assigned to maintenance of the parks are essential.
