Abstract
Bu çalışma kapsamında çok kavşaklı trafik sistemlerinin çözümünde ve planlanmasında etkili bir yöntem olan simülasyon ele alınmıştır. Tez çalışmamızın ana amacı trafik sistemlerinin önemli bir parçası olan arterlerin yeniden yapılandırılması için değişik senaryoların üretilerek en uygun sistemin hayata geçirilmesine örnek teşkil etmesini sağlamaktır. Uygulama arterineki bütün kavşaklar tek tek ele alınarak incelenmiş ve iki adet senaryo üretilerek hangisini uygulamanın daha isabetli olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Önerilen sistemin de modeli ayrıntılarıyla anlatılmış ve kavşakta yapılacak geometrik değişikliklerden elde edilebilecek faydanın tutarı hesaplanmıştır. Sonuçta bu tarz çalışmaların öneminden bahsedilmiş ve baştan planlanması adeta imkânsız hale gelen şehirlerin en azından yeniden yapılandırılması için çaba gösterilmesi gerektiği belirtilmiştir. Simülasyon çalışması ile elde edilen değerlerin ve sonuç raporlarının öneminden bahsedilmiştir.
In this study, simulation, which is one of these methods and effective for solution and planning of traffic systems with multi intersections, is considered. The main purpose of our thesis is to provide forming an example, for carrying out the most convenient system by producing different scenarios in order to reform arterial roads, which are the important parts of traffic systems. In the application all intersections are examined one by one, and afterwards by creating two scenarios, it is determined that whose application is more appropriate. Model of proposed system is explained in details and total benefit which is possible to gain from geometric changes done at intersection point, is calculated. As a result, it is mentioned that the importance of such studies and the necessity of struggling at least for reforming cities which are impossible to plan from the beginning, is clarified. The importance of values gained with simulation study and final reports is mentioned.
