Bilim Kurgu Ve Etki Alanı Üzerinden Geleceğin Yapay Çevrelerinin Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışma geleceğin yapay çevrelerine ilişkin öngörülerde bulunmayı amaçlar. Bu süreci gelecekle yoğun ilişki içinde olan bilim kurgu türü ve bu türün etki alanıyla birlikte değerlendirir. Bilim kurgunun geleceğin dünyalarını kurgularken kullandığı yöntemleri geleceğe dair yapay çevresel bir öngörü yöntemi olarak önerir. Bu bağlamda günün devingen ve doğurgan teknolojilerinin geleceğe projekte edilebileceğini öne sürer ve bu teknolojilerin yapay çevrenin dönüşüm dinamiklerine mevcut ve olası etkilerini ortaya koyar. Türün projektif yöntemiyle birlikte kullandığı spekülasyoncu tavrının geleceğe yansımalarını da bilim kurgu türünün edebi ve sinema eserleri üzerinden inceleyip değerlendirerek mimari ve kentsel bir gelecek panoraması oluşturur. Bu çalışmaya zemin hazırlamak adına bilim kurgu edebiyatını tarihsel ve içeriksel olarak incelemeden önce bu türün evriminde büyük yeri olan ütopya kavramına değinilir. Daha sonra mimarlık ve bilim kurgu ilişkisi çift yönlü olarak ele alınır. Bu bağlamda önce bilim kurgu edebiyatının mimari içeriği, daha sonra ütopik düşüncenin bilim kurguya evrimine paralel olarak ütopya mimarlığının bilim kurgu mimarlığına dönüşüm süreci değerlendirilir.This study, aims to foresee the future artificial environments. It evaluates this process through science fiction, which has close relations with the future, and the influence field of the genre. It proposes the methods of science fiction, with which it shapes the future, as a method of foreseeing the artificial environments of the future. In this context, the thesis puts forward that the dynamic and generative technologies of today can be projected to the future and it exposes the effects of these technologies on the actual and possible transformation dynamics of the artificial environments. It creates an architectural and urban image of the future by taking the speculative attitude of the science fiction genre with its projective method through observing literal and cinematic science fiction works. In order to create the bases to this study, before investigating the history and the content of the science fiction literature, the utopia concept, which had a great effect on the evolution of this genre is mentioned. Following to that, the mutual relation in between architecture and science fiction is dealt with and in this context; firstly the architectural content of the science fiction literature, than the tarnsformation process from utopic architecture to science fiction architecture is evaluated.
