Abstract
Power dividers and combiners play a critical role in modern wireless communication systems, particularly in RF power amplifier applications and antenna arrays. These components are crucial for dividing and combining signals in an equal-phase and equal-amplitude manner, enabling the achievement of higher power levels. This study presents the design of a Gysel Power Divider operating at a center frequency of 915 MHz. The design is optimized through adjustments to the dimensions of microstrip lines, with geometric arrangements implemented to minimize physical size. Successful results were obtained from electromagnetic simulations, leading to the production of a prototype and subsequent experimental tests. The measurement results are presented in comparison with simulation data, and the performance of the circuit is analyzed. This work details the design of a Gysel Power Divider developed for high-power industrial, scientific, and medical applications. © 2024 IEEE.
