Metropol Deviniminde Gündelik Yaşam Ve Konutun Dönüşümü

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, özellikle endüstri devrimi ile yirmi birinci yüzyıl arasındaki süreçte hızla gelişen teknoloji ve medyanın etkisiyle, sürekli bir devinim haline geçen metropol organizmasının gündelik yaşamla ve konutla ilişkisi incelenmektedir. Hareketin ve hızın giderek önem kazanıp kontrolü ele geçirdiği bu ilişkiler ağında metropol yaşamı düzen ve düzensizliği arasında ritmik olmayan, önceden tahmin edilemeyen, etki-tepki mekanizmasıyla noktalar arasında sıçrayarak ilerleyen bir devinim sürdürmektedir. Gündelik yaşam bu hızı yakalamaya çalışırken içeriği ve işleyişi değişmekte, yaşam değiştikçe kent işleyişi de dönüşmekte ve bu döngü durmaksızın devam etmektedir. Bu kurgu içerisinde konutun, hem bu yeni mobil network sistemine adapte olup onunla birlikte hareket edebilmesi, hem de kendi iç kurgusunu dış etkenlerden korumayı sürdürüp, adeta seçici geçirgen hücre zarı gibi dış dünya ile olan ilişkisini kendi kontrolünde düzenlemeyi sürdürebilmesi gerekmektedir. Bu doğrultuda konutun dönüşüm evrimi incelenmeye çalışılmaktadır.In this study, within this perpetual motion, the relation of metropolitan organism to everyday life and the house is examined. Within this network of relationships in which the motion and the speed gain more and more importance and get the control, the metropolis life follows a non-rhythmic, unpredictable and continuous course which proceeds with an action-reaction mechanism in-between chaos and order. As the everyday life tries to keep up with the speed of the metropolis, its context and operational mechanism change; in the same way, the city itself transforms as the life changes and this loop carries on perpetually. In this system, as well as having to adapt and integrate to this new mobile network system, the house also needs to sustain and protect its inner structure from outside effects and maintain its self-controlled relation to the outer world acting as a semi-permeable cell membrane. In this study, the transformational evolution of the house is examined in accordance with the discussions abovementioned.
