Abstract
Yapılan çalışmada poliamid malzemelerin sürtünme ve aşınma davranışına sıcaklığın etkisi çeşitli işletme şartlarında incelenmiştir. Deneylerde poliamid 4/6, poliamid 66, poliamid 6, döküm poliamid 6, MoS2 katkılı poliamid 66, MoS2 katkılı döküm poliamid 6 ve yağ emdirilmiş döküm poliamid 6 kullanılmıştır. Deney numuneleri 10 mm çapta ve 17 mm uzunlukta hazırlanmıştır. Sürtünme ve aşınma deneyleri 40, 60, 80 ve 100C olmak üzere 4 farklı sıcaklık aralığında yapılmıştır. Sürtünme katsayısına kayma hızı ve yüzey basıncının etkisini görebilmek için her bir sıcaklık kademesinde 0,2 ... 1,6 m/sn aralığında 10 ayrı hızda ve 1 MPa ... 3,2 MPa aralığında 9 farklı basınçta sürtünme deneyleri yapılmıştır. Aşınma deneyleri aynı pv limitinde (pv=1 MPa m/sn ) farklı iki kayma hızı ve yüzey basıncı değerinde yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak sürtünme katsayısının sıcaklıkla pek değişmediği, kayma hızı ve yüzey basıncı ile bir miktar artığı görülmüştür. Aşınma hızı kayma mesafesi ile genel olarak azalan bir karakter göstermekte ve artan sıcaklıkla artmaktadır.
Polymer materials used in experiments are polyamide 4/6, polyamide 66, polyamide 6, cast polyamide, MoS2 reinforced polyamide 66, MoS2 reinforced cast polyamide 6 and internally lubricated cast polyamide 6. The specimens were machined as cylindrical pins having 10 mm in diameter and 17 mm in length. The counter face was made of X38CrMoV51 steel and machined to Ra=0,2 m in order to avoid any abrasive wear. The steel counter face has 300 mm in diameter and the diameter which the specimen contacts was adjusted to 144 mm. The friction and wear tests were carried out for four different operating temperatures (40C, 60C, 80C and 100C). The tests for friction coefficients were made for 10 different sliding speeds (0,2…1,6 m/sec) and 10 different surface pressures (1…3,2 MPa). Wear tests were carried out for 1 MPa.m/sec pv value. Two different surface pressures and sliding speeds were used in experiments. It is concluded that the coefficient of friction does not vary with temperature, whereas it increases with sliding speed and surface pressure. Wear rates generally decreases with sliding distance and increases with temperature.
