A Laboratory Experiment on Analog Pressure Control Using an Electropneumatic Transducer

Abstract

Abstract A laboratory experiment developed to complement an introductory controls course is presented here. Since classical continuous time controller design techniques are addressed in the lectures, the controller is implemented using an analog computer rather than a microcomputer. The experiment can be summarized as being a comparison of different controllers for chamber pressure control in an electropneumatic device with inherent feedback loops.
