Environmental sustainability embeddedness in corporate social responsibility

Abstract

The rapid growth of the world population has caused environmental pollution, energy and water consumption, and a shortage of resources for future generations. Studies are being conducted to improve the world's well-being and sustainable development. World leaders are taking climate change seriously. The Turkish building industry has been struggling to maintain its position as the country's leading economic sector. CSR activities are needed to enhance competitive advantage and provide environmental sustainability, and modern communications technologies are democratizing the availability of information. This thesis focuses on profoundly understanding sustainability and CSR implementations through mindfulness.
