Özet
Büyük hızla ilerleyen iletişim teknolojilerinin getirmiş olduğu değişiklikleri, yaşam biçimine uydurmak durumunda kaldığımız bu çağda mimarlar, iyice karmaşıklaşan tasarımlara daha yüksek kalitelerde; kişisel istek ve beğenileri de gözardı etmeksizin uygun çözümler üretme arayışına girmişlerdir. Araştırmada bilgisayar kullanılan mimari bürolarda kullanıcı mimarların ya da kullanıcı olmayan büro sahipleri mimarların bilgisayar destekli tasarımla ilgili tanımlamaları öğrenilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bilgisayar desteğinden beklenilen yararların ne olduğu, bu amaçla oluşturulmuş ya da oluşturulacak olan sistemlerden ne oranda faydalanılabildiği, sorgulanan konular arasındadır. Birinci bölümde, bu amaçların neler olduğu ayrıntılı bir şekilde ele alınmıştır. Konuyla ilgili tanımlamalara da aynı bölümde yer verilmiştir. Bilgisayar Destekli Tasarımın gelişimi ve bu konuyla ilgili yapılmış olan çalışmalarla bu çalışmalardan elde edilen veriler yine birinci bölümde belirtilmiştir. İkinci bölümde konunun araştırma yöntemi olarak seçilen anketleme yönteminin tercih edilme nedeni ile anketlerin hazırlanması ve uygulanış şekilleri ayrıntılı olarak açıklanmıştır. Anketlerde yer alacak konular ile değerlendirmede uygulanacak yöntemlerin belirlenmesi çalışmaları da aynı bölüm içinde sunulmuştur. Hazırlanan tablolarla yapılan değerlendirmelerin yer aldığı açıklamalar, bulgular bölümündedir. Bu bölümde, 1. ve 2. anketler ayrı ayrı ele alınmıştır. Her iki anketin aynı yöntem kullanılarak açıklamaları ve değerlendirmeleri yapılmıştır. Tartışma ve sonuçlar bölümünde araştırmanın amaçlan doğrultusunda ulaşılan sonuçlar belirtilmiş ve tartışılmıştır. Son bölüm olan sonuçlar bölümünde tüm araştırmada ve bir önceki bölümün tartışma konularında varılan sonuçlar maddeler haline getirilmiştir. Anket formları ile anket uygulanan büro ve mimarlar EK'lerde sunulmuştur. Ayrıca mimarların çizim ve mimari sunuş örnekleri de EK ler arasındadır.
The aim of this research is to establish the differences between the business strategy and performances in architectural offices that use computers and establish the usage forms of computers which are being used un avoidably in many fields in architectural practice. In order to establish data consistent with these aims it has been decided that most efficent way should be to conduct surveys in architectural offices that utilize computer. The first survey has been prepared in order to establish business strategies and usage fields of computers. Two questionnaires that complete each other have been prepared for this study. The first questionnaire has been interviewed to 24 architect in 15 different offices. The second questionnaire has been administered to newly chosen offices besides the old ones. Therefore, the second questionnaire's application domain is wider. The second questionnaire has been administered to 30 architect in 20 different offices, in the first questionnaire the questions have been applied to both computer users and non users. Second questionnaire has administered only the computer using architects. The following model of study is followed in this thesis, QUESTIONNAIRE I APPLICATION ASSESSMENT RESULTS QUESTIONNAIRE APPLICATION ASSESSMENT RESULTS _sz_ EXAMPLES ADDITIONAL DATA HYPOTHESIS CONCEPTS XIV The administer questionnaire to the offices which are making projects, drawings and architectural presentations by using soft ware- supported project programmes effectively have been chosen. At the 4th section in the findings the data obtained from the first and second questionnaire are given by tables. Also the tables here have been explained by interpretation under the certain titles. At the findings section the tables are expressions of the answers given to the first and second questionnire under certain titles. By figures the number of responders who consider these titles are given. At the 5th section in the discussion and results by the data obtained from the findings an extensive discussion and assessment of the subject have been done. The results reached in this section have been assessed almost under the same titles and if in some points there are some opposite opinions by indicating them discussion is tried to compare results.. The effect of computers on professional applications: the way the work is done; Their advantages in professional applications and the concept of speed which is especially mentioned have been emphasized.. On the computer- project concept relationship; project quality, project precision description have been done. The opinion of alternative project creation and the subject of starting project on the computer are also discussed under this title.. Computer- 3 dimension project relationship; Information about 3 dimension project creation stages, creation aims and forms have been got from the users.. Computer usage- quality concept relationship; Besides project quality communication quality, project communication quality, descriptions xv about drawing quality, drawing standard description and practice fields have been explained by examples. About architectural presentation which is the one of the biggest changes computer usage bring forth; the effect of computers on the presentation techniques and products on the computers have been mentioned. Also the effect of perspective and animation on customers have been discussed under this section.. Other subjects that are thought to be the benefits of computers are defined by users. -being economic, -coordinarion, -to keep archives. Also besides project and drawing organization, team organization, coordination with different disciplines, user's file organization by computer (layer, block, measure, writing, etc.) tried to be learned. At last, the usage of computers, in computer using architectural offices has been examined; from the point of view personal and architectural offices the deficiencies, expectancies, besides architecture's advice's and recommendations have been discussed. The results obtained from the research have been presented in section 6 under articles. Computer usage in architectural offices;. Accelerated the way work is done. XVI . Since it has increased the quality of project and communication besides drawing quality and presicion it increased the quality of project communication.. It made it easier to go standardization in drawing.. By using, new expression techniques in architectural presentations it provided more expressive presentations. New expression techniques like for perspective, animation, photography and video films real color, finishes and material selection came to current use.. Coordination processes and keeping archives became economic considering time and place.. On the subject of file management the block, layer, measurement and writing tables that are prepared by computer provided time- saving and bring forth a certain standard. Office owners and computer users reccomend their colleagues to use soft-ware supported project systems as soon as possible. The findings and results acquired from this research can be helpful;.In conduction of software- supported project education studies in architectural science..In regulating the business strategies and systems of the offices who want to get benefit from the support of computers..In solving the problems in the offices where they use software- supported project systems.
